The allegory has a lively lunch vibe with a menu that corresponds to all tastes, disciplines and allergies. the service is attentive and the wine list is solid. a lot of choice. it is a good choice for a business lunch or a co-worker lunch.

Great for a big group lunch service friendly and efficient and the menu has good variety

I booked a table here for 6 people last weekend for a very quiet and classy surprise hen. I enquired in advance if we can bring in balloons and decorate, and we were told yes, but when we got there the manager was being very difficult and rude telling us we can’t have our tiny banner hanged anywhere. The wall behind us was glass and we were surrounded by pillars which couldn’t have suffered from a piece of paper hanging from them but we weren’t allowed to do so. Funny thing is, there was also a plant next to our table which had a menu tied up hanging from it (a lot heavier than our little banner) and that didn’t seem to be a problem. The entire ordering process was long, and we had to enquire a few times after waiting a long time where were our drinks. It took ages to get anyone’s attention in this place! Also the waiter couldn’t speak proper English and we had a very hard time understanding her when we did get her attention in the end, not to mention she had terrible cigarette breath on her as well which I found very unprofessional. The food was not great either, very basic and poorly cooked by the chefs who were more concerned to stare at us from behind the bar than to actually do their job. I had tacos for starters and they were cold, while the meat inside was chewy and tasteless. To top everything up we had a service charge added to our bill (12% if I remember rightly) which we obviously asked to have it removed as the whole experience was a complete disappointment.

This is a great restaurant, but the noise level makes it tough to talk business

Amazing atmosphere with the two best servers Sara and Sophie! Will definitely be going back.
