Visited here for a Xmas lunch with colleagues Callum the manager was amazing food was brilliant Definitely recommend
Lovely little pub with a great selection of craft beers. The staff were very friendly and let us sample a few beers before we decided. Food was impressive too for a pub my sea bass was beautifully cooked and the dish was well put together with chorizo, potato and samphire (which I thought was pretty fancy for a pub! to complement the freshness of the fish.
Really nice pub. Only dropped by for a quick pint, so didn't try the food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Building and layout are pleasant. My only issue is the price of a pint: £6.50 for a pretty normal ale. Crazy. Although, apparently this is normal, so it's not a criticism of this place in particular. Just, be warned! Otherwise, keep up the good work!
I visited last Sunday for a roast and what a roast it was! I had roast chicken, stuffing, sausage, potatoes, Yorkshire, cabbage, some fancy sauces and Peroni which is my favourite beer. My girlfriend had a coconut curry which she also said tasted very good with no drink as she only wanted water. Why only 4 stars, well when we arrived we didn’t see a sign about being seated so we seated ourselves. Then we were asked if a girl with curly hair seated us and she hadn’t so we had an awkward wait while someone checked if we could sit there. In the end it was fine and the food was fantastic. Also for 2 meals and a Peroni we paid £40 which is a bit steep although you do get quality and quantity as we had no room for dessert.
