Waitress chose to ignore me and only spoke with my friend. Weekend requesting to not have avacado because of allergy she questioned me and made me feel I was a bad person for having the medical condition. She then spoke in Spanish to my friend in a time that did not make me feel comfortable. When the food came out she brought TJX avacado on the side but on the same page as if she didn't hear or care what was discussed. The remainder of the time she chose to ignore my request. The food was amazing. But service will keep me awayDietary restrictions: They will ignore allergy information
The best molcajete ever! Little cozy restaurant with a lot of Mexican paintings and vibes. Alcoholic drinks were delicious. Go for La Casa Fina peach flavor.Food: 5/5
This place was SO BUSY when we arrived (mind you, around 3pm on a Saturday), but the staff was so quick to seat us, get drinks and chips/salsa going and we hardly waited for our food. The ceviche and mojarra frita were delish ?! The drinks (margaritas and cantaritos) were refreshing and well made ? (and served in some awesome drinkware)! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and definitely feels authentic and fun. I will absolutely be back! The only downside is the parking.
I came here on the recommendation of one of my Mexican friends who kind of raved about the place. The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant is small and quaint, and it has a nice modern feel to it. Service staff was friendly enough, but they assumed that I spoke Spanish, which I don't, and it should have been evident even though she attempted three or four times.I ordered the chicken quesadillas mole and asked if it came with any cheese. It didn't, so I asked for it to be added. The cheese never made it. I also ordered a soft chicken taco on the side.Food quality starting with the chips and salsa wasn't that great. The salsa was lacking flavor, and the chips were overdone. The taco was super bland and only came with chicken and the shell, nothing else. The quesadillas were bland as well. They used dark meat, and I had some pieces of gristle or chicken bone still in mine. The mole sauce was very overpowering as a whole, like it had too much cumin or other spice that threw it off.Even the sides were bland, the refried beans didn't seem like they were even refried, they were watery and still had whole beans in them, and the rice had good texture but lacked any flavor.Overall, I was very disappointed with this place as I definitely would not come here again. The street that it's on has about a dozen restaurants, so maybe I'll give one of those a chance.
