Poke Me - Los Angeles

So good! Fresh poke every single time and extremely friendly faces. Can't wait to go back!

I ordered a large Poke Bowl with salmon, spicy tuna, crab, edamame, and a lot more mix ins! This bowl was about $18 and has a lot of fish, to the point that there's more than the amount of rice. The food tastes great and has a lot of different components that work well together like a traditional poke bowl, and also looks good too. However, my biggest problem with this bowl is that there was MULTIPLE bones in the fish. For someone not expecting bones in poke combined with a bunch more small and hard crunchies, this can be deeply problematic and more care needs to be taken in the food preparation. As for the atmosphere, the place is pretty cute, but also a bit cramped and really only suitable for takeout.

No gimmicks, just a really solid build-your-own poke bowl. Chicken was tender and and flavorful. Drizzle was creamy and interesting to the taste. Vegetables were fresh and added completeness to the bowl.

Yummy food, good quality and good price. But I recommend order inside instead of using DoorDash. First of all, DoorDash gave me the wrong pick up time. It told me the food might take 30-40 min, then 10 min later, i received a text that the food was ready. Second, either the restaurant or DoorDash f'ed up my order. DoorDash didn't give me an option to get order help. The link to get order help does not open. If I have to go through DoorDash to order online, I think I will go somewhere else.

I'm really glad I chose to eat here! I had a craving for poke and happened to be in Westwood. I ordered the medium size, which comes with three scoops of protein, and that was more than enough. I loved the variety of options they offer, which definitely makes me want to return! They're very generous with their portion sizes, and I was pleasantly surprised by their fantastic happy hour deal. I tried the tuna, albacore, and octopus, all of which were delicious, and I paired them with seaweed salad and crab meat. So yummy! I'll definitely be back!
