I first appreciate a Mexican place, how their beans taste, and they are awarded at al’s. we were here three times and loved eating every time. in the did we make the 45-minute journey on the harley’s after work tonight to eat again because we have eaten the food lately! love it!
My guess is that a bad review was written by someone who is connected to the Mexican place they mention in hillsboro. you can't beat al for Mexican food!
I had a really disappointing experience with the customer service at this restaurant. The staff member was too preoccupied with chatting and watching the weather on TV to attend to her customers. It's disheartening to think that she manages this place! I understand she's family, but if she's not fit for the role, maybe it's time to rethink her position.
Al's Café in Lost Springs, KS, offers outstanding Mexican cuisine! The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, set in an idyllic small-town environment where diners can enjoy their meals and catch up with friends without feeling rushed. Unlike the hectic pace of a big city, this café provides a welcoming space. It's not fast food like McDonald's; instead, the dishes are simply prepared, served hot, and absolutely delicious!
The food was mediocre at best; the hamburger was boiled and lacked flavor. The service was disappointing as well—our young blonde waitress seemed disinterested and it reflected in her attitude. I wouldn't bother returning; I feel like I wasted an hour and a half of my life trying this place. Save yourself the trouble and head to Hillsboro for the Mexican restaurant there instead.
