El Molcajete Ky Mexican - Louisville

Ordered a carne asada burrito and it looked like it was beans and ground beef. I also ordered a lengua burrito and it was the dryes, most tasteless lengua I have ever had. It also still had some skin on it. Very disappointed. Not my first time there but very likely my last. El peor burrito de lengua completamente seca y sin sabor.

Great place! Had the music boppin. We ordered the camarones a la Diablo and the agua chile. It was fantastic! The chips and salsa wasn’t my favorite, it was more of a molé style salsa, but it was still good. They have a pool table too. Service was great as well. Will be back.

Food and drinks were a little bland And over priced but looked nice. 2 drinks, chips (dollar store style) queso, 2 tacos, and a bowl of soup was almost $60 for lunch

Latin atmosphere, Latin food, grilled chicken...Al Carbon...

So if you want real Mexican cuisine, this is the place. It seems to be a small family owned business. We were searching for a place to eat on Christmas day, and we came across this gem. The workers were very courteous and hard-working. If you are looking for fancy, this probably isn't the place for you, but if you are looking for a bar setting, with a beer, good food, and a pool game, stop in and try one of their authentic fajitas.
