The food was average and not worth the price at all $73 for 3 dinners) The wait was long but the food was fresh. The sides taste better than the meat. Very overpriced for how much you pay you can cook at home or support another establishment. Theydon?t have a menu inside the restaurant and aren?t clear on how much things cost so you have no idea if the high prices arecorrect. I was talking to another customer while waiting and he said that he paid way too much for one meal but wanted tosupport a black business. Overall it?s not worth the money or wait time.
Waited 45 for a call in order for the second time the first time I had came I spent 16.98 for a brisket meal (without a drink) the brisket itself was good however the Mac and cheese was extremely nasty witch was very upsetting also I came again to get asecond opinion and ordered the same exact meal some how my total was now $18.98 (without a drink) staff was extremely rude andnonchalant and to be honest it's not worth it SWEET PEACHES is 3 doors down and it's black owned freshly remodeled and food isamazing and the prices are resonable in addition the staff is nice and friendly I'm from ATLANTA SO I KNOW GOOD SOULFOOD WHEN IEAT IT
Loved the place. Safe. Outside to place order. The fried chicken meal..Great. Minus The cornbread dressing. Not a fan. As for the Sunday Dinner Pot Roast carrots..superb. I just wish for the Price the cornbread would have been softer sweeter. Kindaexpensive yet the food Definitely had love cooked as the secret ingredient.
Best soul food in town, you must visit this place if you come to Louisville!
