Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Louisville

WARNING TO CUSTOMERS!!! I visited the drive-thru today, 8/29/23, and while I was eating my sandwich, I discovered mold on the bottom bun. This poses a serious health risk, and I feel it's important to inform others. I typically wouldn’t share minor issues, but this situation is completely unacceptable. Popeye's needs to improve.

Additionally, on one visit, I was asked to pull up and wait for my order. When someone finally came out to deliver my food, I requested some sauce. The employee looked at me as if I were asking something strange and simply responded, “Uh, yeah," while walking back to the door at a snail's pace. Frustrated, I got out of my car and went inside to get the sauce myself. It would be one thing if the food was fantastic, but with undercooked chicken and poor service, I won't be returning.

Everything was quite underwhelming. The fries were lukewarm during lunch, and the service was just okay. There were no napkins available, so I had to grab a roll of paper towels from the counter. The chicken tenders were merely thin strips, and while the chicken sandwich was somewhat decent, it shouldn’t be the main reason to choose this place. It's really not that great, I stand by that. The biscuit was incredibly dry, almost just tasted like flour. At least there was easy parking, but I really wish there had been a TV or some decent music to distract me from the fact that I could have just gone to the chicken place across the street. Did you see that someone recommended the sad chicken strips in the review below on Google Maps?

Tall older black woman was angry and just mean. Cut u off ,I payed 24 dollars for two shrimp orders got 1/3 what I usually receive and she got crazy angry. I've ordered this 10 times I know what u get..wouldn't listen then was yelling about it for 10 minutes while we ate...just

Probably the worst Popeyes location I've ever visited, they are not attentive, they ignore your presence, and a average ticket time is 30-45 mins in my experience. Would rather drive across town to a different location that to go here.
