Yan's Restaurant - Lower Sackville

I love the hot and sour soup at this restaurant. The service is great and it's the best in the area. Delivery is not always available, but there is a 10% discount for pick-up orders.

We were eager to visit Yans after hearing rave reviews, as our usual spot had been lacking lately. However, we were extremely disappointed with the food. The rice was cold and had an unpleasant starchy taste, the Cantonese dish with pineapple was lukewarm and lacked any hint of pineapple flavor, and the pork was tough, fatty, and flavorless. Overall, it was the worst Chinese food we have ever had.

I don't come here too often, but when I do, it's always a pleasant experience. The food is fresh and the staff is very friendly.

Was pleasantly surprised. We were the only people in restaurant, and the dining room was quite dated there was also a sign in window looking for waitress . I truly thought this would be a horrible meal. Wow was surprised. The wonton soup was very...good. Plenty of bbq pork slices and the wontons appeared homemade. The egg rolls were all meat and cooked just right. The general beef was spicy and very flavourful. Everything was hot, and the waitress/owner was quick to serve.
