Mainland Inn - Lower Salford Township

I had high hopes for a wonderful dining experience, but my husband and I left feeling extremely disappointed. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the staff were friendly. However, the onion soup we ordered was lukewarm and tasted as if it had been sitting out all day. The Caesar salad was the worst I have ever had - the lettuce had a strange taste and the dressing was terrible. The portion of steak we ordered for two was disappointing, leaving us wondering what a single serving would look like. During my meal, the waiter reached across me to clear a finished martini glass, giving the impression he was trying to pressure me into ordering another drink. Overall, I would only recommend this place to those who enjoy drinking heavily, don't mind wasting money, and appreciate a nice atmosphere.

The food at this restaurant is amazing! Our group ordered the Ribeye special, Crab and Shrimp Fettuccine, and the Salmon. We started with the French Onion soup as an appetizer, and one person in our group said it was one of the best they've ever had. I highly recommend trying the Maple Bourbon Creme Brulee for dessert. Overall, everything was absolutely fantastic! The only downside is that it can get very loud, but the delicious food is definitely worth it.
