Dairy Queen - Lubbock

We ate there last Sat and chicken strips were good but it had been said tacos were great, however the tacos tasted just like Taco Casas and the tacos need the Grease changed they cook with today as we both got bad diarrhea and stomach cramps from it, the ice cream was ok but stay away from the tacos!! Lucky to get even 1 star I waited 25 minutes to get my order of just 2 beltbusters and a small fry and the order was not correct. Not even gonna bother to get it corrected don't wanna want to wait another 30 minutes. Service was slow even to bring my order she just casually walked outside to bring my order and was rude

Incompetent!!!! The only thing I ordered was a large order of fries. That though, isn’t the problem! The problem is when I got to the window and I was handing the incompetent girl the $20 dollar bill. She let go of it and it landed in a huge puddle of water, because this all happened during a storm that has just passed through here in Lubbock. I had to backup the car, open the door and take my seatbelt off all while the bill just drifted deeper down underneath the car, causing the door to hit the building and scratching up my door in order to reach the bill. All the while the “girl” just stared and laughed. Once I got the bill I was so furious so I asked for the manager. She stands there and I literally had to yell for her to get the manager. Any other time I would have been calm but, after the door scratch and me having to get wet, not to mention the electronics on the door getting wet because I had to open the door to get the $20 dollar bill she let go of, my impatience was through the roof. Only to have the manager drag herself over, while taking an order. Then I just briefly tell her and all she said was “oh that’s fine I can dry it off. I told her I didn’t want the order anymore and she just said fine and nastly closed the window. To the owners of this place. I used to work for Dairy Queen here in Lubbock back in the 80’s . I am so disappointed with the way I was treated today. Would you like your mother to be treated like I was today? I hope that y’all get treated the same way or that y’all’s loved ones get treated like this to understand my anger at this moment.

Still a great Texas Staple. The Dude is my go to. Ice cream is good.
