Taqueria Autlan - Lubbock

Enjoyed my lunch.  Freshly prepared and tasty.  Not Tex Mex but more authentic I think.  The salsa they brought with the chips was really good.  More of a tomatillo type salsa I think.   Nice change from the same ol Tex Mex style options.

First time here. Staff is very friendly. Sauce bar with so many kinds of hot sauce, is awesome. I had the menudo and a chorizo potato and egg burrito. The menudo was good. It had a lot of hominy and meat with a great broth. The burrito on the other hand was, on at best. It was huge, to much tortilla and they added grilled red peppers and onions. Like I said it was ok. Overall I would definitely come back. The service was great, the salsas were off the chain. Will have to try the tacos next go round!!!! <br/ #fatkidproblems

Excellente. Very impressed! More original Mexican food than other restaurants with great variety, shrimp chimi superb!

Great Food. With the exception of the Carnitas, sorry it was pulled pork, the food here is great. I have eaten here about 7 times and with the exception of Carnitas, all meals were great and service was fast, professional and friendly.<br/ <br/ BTW, Carnitas are supposed to be fried. I still find this place as the best Mex in town.

Unbelievable food. This is in my opinion the best Mexican food in town. Great service and prices and really authentic atmosphere. All their food is incredibly fresh and meat very tender.
