Feedback gevenWe were probably the only English speakers they had seen in a month, but with a little help from google translate we were able to make it work. I had the formula, and started with a deer terrine, not the best choice. My wife enjoyed her salad as I did with the remainder of my meal. We came on Monday and were glad to see they were open, but there was only one other customer in the place.
Looking for a lunch spot on the way to Tours, we took a chance on the Auberge le Fournil. It turned out to be the spot where the men working in town gather for lunch. The proprietors made us feel welcome, the food was hearty--green salad, pork chop with beans, and a selection of cheese--for a very reasonable price. There is nothing fancy about the Auberge, but if one is looking for a relaxing break from the road, it fits the bill.

Very good menu in a sober but clean frame and bravo to mme to manage everything! The kitchen is simple but good and is suitable for the small budget.
Excellent customer relationship, however the framework and the map lack a bit of madness.
