The dining room was empty, but the terrace was full. I ordered an appetizer of herring and water, which the boss rudely refused, saying he only serves appetizers. After insisting that I had never experienced such treatment before (having lived in the area for years), he reluctantly served me the herring. The waitress, however, was charming and pleasant. I would not return as long as the boss is in the kitchen. The herring and tomatoes were good, but the salad was forgotten. The bread for the tartine was industrial white bread. Overall, it was just okay.
