Barrel House Bbq - Lynchburg

I had a fantastic dining experience! I brought my gift from Jack and decided to try Barrel House BBQ for the first time while I was in the square. Although there are many great options in the city, I was really pleased with my meal here. The staff was excellent, and I enjoyed a lovely conversation with two gentlemen who were biking around for the day.

A cozy spot with fantastic food! We stopped by here after touring the Jack Daniels Distillery. Our coach driver recommended the grilled cheese pork sandwich, and we decided to give it a try. We were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. Although our waitress and the cashier were young, they provided excellent customer service. They really took care of us! Our sandwiches were delicious and full of flavor. We’ll definitely be back for lunch!

This charming spot is a hidden gem in the small town of Lynchburg. After enjoying the distillery tour, we were in search of a meal. Our guide, Justin, suggested this place for its grilled dishes. We kicked off our meal with Brisket Nachos. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which came with potato salad and coleslaw, while I opted for the pulled chicken on a Crack Jack sandwich. It was quite hearty, and I could only manage to eat half of it! I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in the area.

Nice little house. Friendly staff. Very good food potato salad, baked beans and pulled pig was all great! The house BBQ Sauce was delicious. I tried everyone and personally enjoyed the original, but the Habanero had a beautiful smokiness. You can pay at the table at the door after you finish your meal, only FYI. Very recommended!

They get 5 stars because the food was soooooooo DELICIOUS!!!! However it took 20 min for the server to take our order. We were set before a group that was able to get their food ordered , eat and , leave before our order even came to the table. The server was very friendly though. The great food made up for the wait. You gotta try to slaw, bbq, and sausage!
