Monte Carlo - Lynchburg

Decided to try this restaurant because the reviews were decent. It was the worst experience of Italian food I have ever had. It must be the pizza people like

The customer service was subpar at best. We had never tried this establishment before and when we walked in were looked at as though we didnt belong. The food? From appearance VERY oily, but in all actuality it was very dry and honestly tasted like dog food. Even the chicken barely had flavor. Definitely would not recommend.

How did we forget this place? We ate at Monte Carlo two years ago visiting from Chicago and looking for a house. This was our first restaurant we went to. We finally came back and we loved it! The pizza is one of the best in Lynchburg! The garlic knots, calamari, spaghetti and meatballs and wine were also very good! Plenty to take home for an extra meal! We will be back very soon! Absolutely great service. Food was delicious and in great portions. We had plenty to take home and were still stuffed by the end of our meal. Save the appetizer, you won't have room! ?

They have amazing pizza. We have had a couple family get togethers in their back room. There is an hourly rate to reserve the room. There are hardly any restaurants that have that option so this is a great feature! It is family run and limited staff but they have their act together.
