Subway - Lyndhurst

Great looking place. Clean, organized and friendly staff- 5 starts for this. However, the food was just okay my sandwich was a off the flavor mark because the veggies weren't fresh, this threw off the flavor of the sub. I would give it a try again just to see if it was an off day or if the management is the type that do not care for the quality of their ingredients as long as they're selling...We'll see...

I always found it odd that a small town like Lyndhurst had two Subway locations a few years back. And then there was one... that isn 't even averaging two stars on Yelp (that 's not very encouraging, right? . But my family is on a *quest* to eat at every food establishment in town so sooner or later that meant this Subway (that seems to get lost between Medieval Times and the Courtyard by Marriott on Polito Ave. When I hopped on their website to place our order I 'm not sure which was more shocking: how many new/different items they now offer (protein bowls, fresh mozzarella and breakfast? or that they call themselves Subway Sandwich Artists complete with the trademark symbol, I guess because someone might want to steal the name?! Upon entering... the place looks good, very clean. The artists behind the counter were (kinda friendly. Food: I must confess that my expectations weren 't too high and I was pleasantly surprised all around. Their subs are generally on the 'lite ' side but with a few new options/additions (like smashed avocado it really enhanced the overall sub. (On a return visit a few months later to try some other items we weren 't as happy with what we received, but it was still a solid 'okay '. Price: decent, affordable, can 't complain when a family of four can fill up for about $7 per person. Would we come back when Italian delis knocking out superior sandwiches are ubiquitous in North Jersey (not to mention Jersey Mike 's when you 're in a pinch ? It 's not completely out of the question (which is not something I thought I 'd say when it comes to Subway .

Ryan evans is a great employee and handles sandwiches well.

Very clean. Staff is very polite and takes care making the food.
