Followed by a sumptuous anti pasta with delicious cheeses, meats, and breads. Later there were meatballs, two wonderful pasta dishes, one with special mushrooms, the other ricotta ravioli. Then salad and the meat dishes good steak, and the most succulent delicious pork we have ever eaten roast piglets. Followed by three tasty desserts sebados, fruit salad, and Sardinian dolcis, finished off with expresso and a choice of liquors. The whole experience was well paced over four hours, we were made most welcome by the staff and by Fabrizio the chef, and given an opportunity to see the traditional ovens in the kitchen. The chef and maitre d’ clearly had a great commitment to it being a great feast and enjoyable experience. As visitors to Sardinia, we enjoyed being part of a local event there were many local extended families and groups of friends enjoying a special Sunday outing together. Highly recommended! For my first visit I really appreciated the variety and the freshness of the food offered. However the service was far from being good, the waitress did not know very well the food served. Instead of rejecting our questions about the food, she could have asked a colleague or the owner for more information, I think it's the least you can wait.
Disappointing. Unfortunately not as good as it used to be. This was My third visit to what used to be in my view the best agriturismo in Sardegna. The first two trips were excellent, with large variety of quality dishes produced with quality local ingredients, all this in beautiful surrounding. Friendly family run business. I took my family for lunch there today (party of 14 including 2 childrens). The food was still of good quality but the service was just terrible. I preordered a fish as main dish for my wife (as I did the previous 2 times) and again mention it when I arrived but nothing was done. Instead the same vegetarian dish as the started was offered. The waitress was very unfriendly, incompetent and completely clueless about all the dishes that were served. Variety of dishes not good as before, quantity not as generous. Dishes half full removed from table without asking. The boss generally friendly and chatty was nowhere to be seen when asked about missing fish. Overall still good quality food but the place obviously lost his charm and appeal as it became more popular and more arrogant. Desapointing.
Nice place for having lunch on Sundays if you are in the area. As I understand they are not open the other days, unless you are a large group and ask for a special lunch. The restaurant is really nice, with different rooms. We stayed in the large one, close to the fireplace, and a nice view from the window. The antipasti were various and all very good. Some prosciutto, lardo, pancetta (local cold cuts and several vegetarian options. Some cold and some warm recipes. The best for me polpettine di cinghiale . Primi: ravioli di formaggio (very very good and another type of pasta (not the best for me . Secondi: maialetto (very good and another meat-based dish that I don 't remember well. Dessert: dolcetti sardi (particularly good! Mirto, limoncello and coffee. Wine: local (average+ quality Price: 35 euros The service was prompt and good. The owners and personnel are kind. The only little thing to add: we still remembered this place after a 15-years-ago visit (same owners because of the incredible quality of the prosciutto crudo and the wine. They are not the same anymore (though they are good quality . I guess you cannot keep that quality when you become so successful and you have to serve so many more people ... In short: very good value for money
I found out the farm accompanied my students for a project. I came back today and found everything really great: quality food and plentiful), professional and very courteous waiter service), the position very cared for. Really excellent!
