Five Guys - Madison

The food was average. For my tastes too greasy. The fries were good but expensive. Burger was below my expectation. Hence 3 stars for average.Service there is no service per say unless taking your order, cooking and handing it to you at the counter is service. I consider that the basic fundamentals for self ordering food. That said I give 5 stars because all 3 people were very friendly and polite.Atmosphere is average. Functionally plain. I like the free peanuts. However this day there was some service person (doing nothing) hovering around the soda machine going up and down a ladder doing nothing the whole time I was there. I understand in business maintenance is important but if he is just hanging out maybe get the heck out of the way. Customers might trip or whatever. I don’t want to circumnavigate this guy to get refills of soda.

Burgers are awesome! Greasy, but very good. Fries are great too.... sometimes they can be a little undercooked.You can get cheaper burgers but the kids love them and are consistently satisfying.Wish they had other sides and options on the menu.We keep coming back so they have to be doing something right.

Excellent burgers, great service. I visited during off-peak hours so there was no.line. The place was clean. It was in a small strip mall so parking was limited but didn't have to wait long.

1st time visitor...fast, courteous, and patient employees. Burger was great...received enough fries to feed a baseball team!

I called in an order at 9:53 last night. Some places would not have even answered, but Madison Five Guys picked and made my food right before they closed. And they were very nice when I picked it up at closing. I appreciate their hard work and service. I did leave them a nice tip, but I also wanted to write this review to commend their service. There were 3 people working, but didn't get their names. I hope this review is seen by your senior leadership. Keep up the exceptional work guys!
