On my way to Dallas and I see the excellent reviews about this place and I decide to choose here to stop and eat. Absolutely delicious food. I personally have the meatball parmigiana Sub and I can't even explain how good it is. They give you really fresh free rolls, and the place is so clean and clean. I love the soft Italian music in the background! I'll definitely stop here when I get back and forth.
The only rating equal to this restaurant is 5 stars. A really wonderful Italian restaurant, surprisingly in a small East Texas town. The Filialfront, in a Strip-Mall, attracts attention with the handmade care that distinguishes it from the neighboring Mexican restaurant by showing that the owners take care. Inside, again, a bit rustic but clear family operated, and the family took the time and care to decorate with love. The service is excellent and by a member of the family, and their attention to detail and concern for the customer is excellent. As for food, Sublime. Exquisite. The bread is freshly baked. The Marinara is homemade. The meat is perfectly seasoned and cooked. I was speechless when I ate every bite, and I ordered a calzone and a Stromboli to share with my girlfriend when I returned to Austin. This restaurant is so good my friend and I can travel one and a half hours to buy and eat in local antique shops. One of the highest compliments I can pay for this restaurant is that it would whisper in Austin. Finally, the prices are so low that I bought extra, and if I eat again there (and I want) I will buy as much as I can take with me to store and eat at home. A shockingly great restaurant in a small town in East Texas.
We had our family Christmas together with Luigi's and was very happy with EVERYTHING. The portions are huge, the food was delicious the service was great! Ida was an incredible waitress
The place had only been open for a few days when we visited, but the place was already humming like a well oiled machine. The staff was friendly and seated us quickly. The menu items have lots of Italian words in the names, so I can't remember the name of what I ate, but it was very good and best of all, authentic. The prices are reasonable for good Italian food. Overall we had a great dining experience and I can't wait to visit again.
