Seeing the ethnic Arab owners, I was expecting a good pizza, but different from the Neapolitan one, i.e. with a low crust and a different consistency. Instead, I was really impressed to see that, in this bar-pizzeria, the pizza is exactly like the original Neapolitan recipe, that is, with a high crust and with a consistency typical of Neapolitan pizza. The pizzas are really good. I also recommend trying the extraordinary calzones prepared according to the original Neapolitan recipe. The pizzas by the slice are also good. I was also satisfied with the focaccias, which are round and large like pizzas, but prepared with a slightly different dough. The focaccia by the slice, which is displayed together with the pizza by the slice mentioned above, is also good. Another specialty that I really liked was the panuozzo. In particular, I suggest trying: the classic panuozzo (with raw Parma ham and buffalo mozzarella), the panuozzo with buffalo mozzarella, cooked ham and green salad and also the panuozzo with broccoli, bacon and provola (off-menu variant that I have I requested). Even the panuozzi deserve to be tried. They 're really good. Other specialties offered are: hot dogs, toasts with cooked ham and cheese and piadina with mozzarella, cooked ham and green salad. The piadina is a little different from the original recipe, but it is still good, as are the other two specialties listed above. Finally, let 's talk about the treats. The panzerotti are identical to the calzone, they have the same dough, but they are still good, especially the smooth one (tomato and mozzarella). The french fries and potato croquettes are also good. However, some clarifications are in order. Some combinations I tried are not on the menu, since I chose the combination of ingredients (because it can be done). However, the prices are almost similar to those of the pizzas on the menu. Furthermore, it is good to remember, as they also told me, that the round pizzas, round focaccias, panuozzi and sfizietti are prepared from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 18:00 to 23:00. From what I understand, they are served here in order of release. In short, you serve the first course that comes out and then the others come next. It doesn 't seem to me that they follow that now outdated protocol which consists in serving the first customer at the same table based on their gender, which is something done erroneously by many other places with the excuse of etiquette . That said, the staff is friendly and helpful and the prices are average. I would add that the idea of having a bar-pizzeria with well-made pizzas is very nice. There is a need for places like this. The location is very strategic. The bar-pizzeria is in fact located in Piazza Ascoli, which is located between Viale Abruzzi and Viale dei Mille, 700 meters from the M4 stop, Dateo, and from the stop of the railway link of the same name. The bar-pizzeria is located on the corner of Via Filippo Juvara and Via Gian Battista Tiepolo. The restaurant is also located one kilometer from Corso Buenos Aires and the M1 stop, Porta Venezia and the railway link of the same name.
