Only I noticed when I went outside that I was given 1.50 in my change instead of 3 euros. Not after... I went outside, but it left a negative impression when we were happy otherwise. The couple with JJs seemed nice, and I'm sure they would have corrected that if they were challenged, but it's just no mistake I would expect someone to do that. It is my first time in Duquesa/Sabinillas and overcharging seems to be a theme with a selection of restaurants either giving the wrong change (JJs was the only one of these so far because it is only cash and I usually pay by card) or adding extras to the bill (e.g. large soft drinks if you have a small bottle or items that you have not even ordered). This experience would not let me order from JJs again, but be careful with your change. It caught me from the guard where I'm usually more on.
This must be the best fish meal ever! Great people, too. The size of the portion and the quality excellent. There is no competition for JJ's
Fantastic portion of fish and chips fresh and crispy and nice people give it a try its definatly great value we had one portion between us
We visited Tim’s tonight for the first time since it’s new owners took over, it was desperately disappointing, fish chips scampi chips cost 20€, the fish was tiny and the chips were bitty and greasy. Personally I won’t be giving it a...second chance as there are 2 other chip shops locally, both first class. A takeaway charging top prices like this needs to be good, sadly Tim’s is not even average.
We've been 3 times over the past year and every time was simply nasty. First time was dripping in grease Second time daughter had hair in her food Third time, only my son had the sausage in batter and chips and he left it because...it was revolting. It takes a lot for a chippy to ruin chips but this one is first class vile.
