King Donuts - Manchester

I come here once every month early on a Sunday morning to get a dozen donuts for my team at work, the donuts are delicious! This morning I was slightly disappointed as I got myself a cinnamon roll which was also delicious but due to the size the middle wasalmost completely raw and doughy making the best part inedible.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The coffee was excellent, the donuts were amazing, and the staff were very friendly. I visited for the first time today and ordered two large iced coffees and two cake donuts (both chocolate and red velvet), which were enormous and absolutely delicious. We also tried a breakfast sandwich. I really appreciated how they accommodated my brother's peanut allergy by providing us with a list of the ingredients for the donuts. Thank you, everyone!

Shortly after, another man walked in and one of the women greeted him, even asking if he wanted his usual sandwich. He politely requested that they assist us first since we were in line ahead of him. After finally placing our order and heading home, we discovered that the donuts were really stale and disappointing. We were looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, the donuts were worse than the unwelcoming customer service. My partner and I couldn’t even finish them and ended up throwing them away.

I picked up a half-dozen donuts this past Sunday morning at 8:30. There was a decent variety to choose from, so we selected three different types. Unfortunately, every donut we tried was dry, dense, and tasted stale. It was a major letdown. I won't be making a special trip back. For a donut shop, I expect the donuts to be exceptional.

Do they have every product they offer all the time? Of course not! I wouldn 't expect a small craft donut place to. These are hand cut beautifully unique looking works of deep fried art! You want a dozen donut clones go to Dunk. That said if you see aRed Velvet cake donut in the case buy it! Take it to a place that makes you think of the good ol ' days and enjoy!
