Encouraged by the positive word of the word, we went for dinner in this place: it has a high number of tables, part of which overlooking the harbour below, from which you can also admire the sunset. We have tasted what is probably the top dish of the place and that is the choregone cutters, selection that has not betrayed expectations. Friendly and professional service, despite a slight delay in collecting our order (it was the peak time and the tables were full, adequate quality/price ratio except, perhaps, 3 € covered in the absence of bread or grissini. Recommended room.
The food is acceptable but not in line with price The service level and attitude is very poor. That is disappointing. They should work on customer relationship’s. It’s a shame.
We had gone to Manerba del Garda at Porto Torchio the year before and wanted to eat at Da Rino, but it was after 3PM and their kitchen was closed, typical for Italy. We loved this area and decided we would come back because we were absolutely going to come back to Lake Garda. This time we made sure we would get to the restaurant while the kitchen was still open. We sat outside right by the lake with stunning views of the lake, mountains and windsurfers. It was a glorious day and the meal was almost superfluous. That doesn’t mean it wasn't good. It was. It was very good. We both had trout, salad, bread, potatoes, dessert of ice cream chocolate cone-like thing with whipped cream. It was so good and relaxing that we overstayed and sort of wrecked our plans for the day, but we really did not care. We walked along the lake like the last time and my wife pooped out earlier than I did. It was lovely. It took a long time for me to get to the point where I actually don’t mind having a lazy day just eating a fine meal and looking out at some beautiful scenery. It may be the new norm. Da Rino will be part of that new norm.
3 stars because the service was not good servers were inattentive and disinterested. However the food was amazing I would recommend the salmon carpaccio and their pastas with fish! Ask for a table with a lake view if possible it’s beautiful
