サボテン - Maniwa

Visited in January 2022. It had been a really long time since my last visit. I can't remember when I last came, but it wasn't ten years ago. I ordered the omurice for lunch, and it was just as good as people had said. The owner seemed in good spirits too, which was nice to see. Will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I had a pleasant time at this traditional café. The coffee was delicious and I was able to relax and spend some quality time there.

古き良き時代の趣が感じられる喫茶店。お店の中で煙草が吸えるのは今時珍しく私も湯原に行った時は必ず寄るお店です。何が出るカナ？でお馴染みの小堺一機氏に似た雰囲気のマスターが優しくお出迎えしてくれます。私がいつも食べるのはシンプルなオムライス。ひと口頬張ると実家に帰ってきたと思うぐらいの懐かしい味で心まで温かくなります。ほかにもサンドイッチやホットケーキなどの喫茶店の定番メニューやサボテン名物のはんざきぜんざい（干し柿入り）があり珍しいので湯原に立ち寄った際は是非寄ってみてください。 ※はんざきとはこの地方のオオサンショウウオの呼び名のことです。
