I had the shrimp lobster roll sandwich I ordered sweet potatoes with a few margaritas. my hubby ordered the philly steak cheese pizza an order of beer batteredries with a few grain belt bier. very tasty the appetizer wantons were a bit too darkened not so many.
The atmosphere was beautiful, they love the open space with lots of natural light. the personal was good. the menu was missing vegan options next to meat on salads and some appetizers. we ordered the flower cabbage and it was good, but it was more flower charcoal crumb than deep fried heads.
Good food, decor is hip, but the waitstaff was a tad rude. Felt like she wasn't in the mood to be our server. She did warm up by the end of the visit tho.
4 guys. 7 dishes. 3-6pm, $3 starters. At 7 West Tap House ?A great deal for some real deal dishes indeed?Check out all we got from this place. #7WESTOMG ? American cheese, applewood smoked bacon, beer onions, cheese curds, and Taphouse sauce, and double burger patties on grilled sourdough bread.Jalapeño Bacon Poppers ?️ ? Halved jalapeños stuffed with breaded cheese and wrapped in bacon, deep fried, and served with Taphouse sauce.Shrimp and Lobster Roll Sandwich ? A blend of shrimp, lobster, and celery with special seasonings tossed in Bang Bang sauce on grilled New England bread.Loaded Tots Bowl ? ? Tater tots in ranch seasoning with Gouda cheese sauce, bacon, pico, jalapeños, and a fried egg.Cheese Curds ?Onion Rings House Made Chicken Tenders ?All from 7 West Tap House in Mankato 7️⃣I barely knew which direction was which after eating trying all this ?Luckily, the restaurant showed me the way, and clearly they’ve found the location where food is the best — West! My friend ordered the burger and had high praise for his patty-stacked selection ? I’ll say from seeing it, the #7WESTOMG looked absolutely incredible ?The Poppers truly popped off ? A lil’ bit of savory and spicy along with the cheese and bussin’ bacon brought tears to my eyes… okay maybe not, but these were awesome! ?I had the Lobster Roll and was pleasantly surprised. Though some may think a tap house couldn’t set the bar for seafood, their presentation of this crustacean was impressive ? Fresh, flavorful, and of course served on classic-lobster-roll-style bread, this is an order for those who pine to find a bit of seaside delight in southern Minnesota ?The Tot Bowl was not of the highest quality — too many tomatoes tipped the texture of this dish to be a little too soft for me: I’ll say the ingredients were there, and there’s potential for it to pack a punch, but veering away from too many vegetables would made a difference for this appetizer avalanche The cheese curds, onion rings, and tenders were all terrific takes on classic starters. Make sure to try some of their signature sauces ???Honestly, everything we had is worth a try! I recommend grabbing a few friends, heading over for Happy Hour, and loading on the apps for an evening of laughter and awesome food :)Well done, 7 West, henceforth known as the Appetizer Heaven ?
Have been coming here with a buddy for Happy Hour from 9pm 10pm. They used to offer $3 appetizers and $5 pizzas. They have recently raised the price now to $5 apps and $7 pizzas. Not as college friendly anymore.
