Courtepaille - Manosque

This restaurant is downright awful. They served me one of the worst meals I 've ever had, and with terrible service to boot. The steak was like eating a lump of fat, and they twice brought me a dirty wine glass with who knows what inside the cup. Finally, they offered no sauces to accompany the fries, just a pile of dry potato sticks. I asked for someone to bring sauces, and they never even came back. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Though in this location I think there 's only one other option, so you 're kind of stuck.

We have always enjoyed the food and the friendly service at Courtepaille. Each time we have visited they have gone out of their way to modify a meal, making it vegan for myself and my husband. The result has always been excellent. This visit, I was here by myself and requested they call a taxi for me. After some time, the manager said they had tried 5 different taxies and not one could send a car out. There was no bus service and it would have been a very long walk. My waitress, Judy, volunteered to give me a ride when her shift finished. Five minutes later, I was on my way.

Much as we expected from a chain restaurant. Food was sufficient without being memorable and for a reasonable price. No frills.
