Out dates, dusty and smells musty. I had to asked to be moved because there was a ton of food all over the floor right by and under my table. The food was terrible. Absolutely terrible! It was clear it had been previously cooked and barely microwaved. The soup wasn’t even warm. The rolls were soaking in a puddle of grease in a bowl. The pasta was over cooked and lacked all flavor.
Not usually one to review, but this was a pretty negative experience. Overall, my biggest complaint was how dirty it was inside. Immediately when we were shown to our table there was a huge mess of pasta dried into the ground (clearly from a child) that was not cleaned up. Later on when my meal came my spoon was literally dirty. Had hard food crusted onto it. Super gross and offputting to say the least. The food itself was kinda bland cool. Not ice cold but it was definitely not freshly cooked. Waitress was nice but she got the order for one of the kids wrong. Won’t be going back.
Had dinner here. Upon entering Frankie's which is a bit on the dark side once seated it is a nice but somewhat dated restaurant. Our server Kimmy was attentive and pleasant, she did her best to make our experience positive. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience across the board with the food and we had 5 people and ordered 6 dishes. We stared with the pizza and Mediterranean salad, large tossed salad and artichokes. The large tossed salad was not good, no one ate it nor did our server ask us how it was even though she took it back uneaten. For mains we order the veal Parm, rigatoni a la vodka, chicken Parm, Manicotti and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The groups take away was none of the dishes blew us away, we tried them all nothing great. The chicken Parm was better than the veal Parm but neither were anything we would go back for. Overall, we were disappointed in the taste of the food, we were hoping to find a few dishes to return for but for us it's a one and done.
The first thing I have to point out is the service. The people here are genuinely kind and attentive. That alone makes you want to come back. Secondly, the food does the job! I got the Baked Ziti and it was the perfect portion in my opinion. I've also preferred the pizza and garlic cheesy bread in the past also pretty good! It's dim and intimate inside. You wouldn't expect it to look the way it does based from its exterior. I love this little hidden gem. I say to definitely give this place a try! For sure recommend.
