Group of 4 of us went and had a variety of meals and all were happy with what we got. Service was friendly. The seafood pizza was different from the usual and great. The spatchcock was something unusual on the menu hat I tried and was not disappointed
Superb! Next visit will just work our way through the Tapas Menu and leave the main not at all Spanish and there was no Paella......Spanish without a Paella never heard off!
We were really disappointed with the food, completely overpriced for pittance small portions, which were served luke warm and service was embarrassingly slow, it took too long to even order drinks after we were seated. We decided to go back and give it a second chance, both lunch and dinner were disappointing and we wished we had eaten at Ocean street.
A last minute decision to go for Birthday Tapas. For the price, one would expect the food to be at least seasoned. The Seared Prawns and Scallops were blackened rather than seared and unfortunately over cooked. The special on offer was a great concept, however was disappointed in its presentation, blackened again with absolutely no seasoning. We did try and mention this to the waitress who said, everybody's palette is different. Just to note: salt and pepper when added to the raw ingredients prior to cooking should not be tasted but merely added to enhance and encourage the flavours. For what we had The Boat Shed is cheaper and would be our choice next time. Nice reheated Gyspy Kings serenaded the restaurant rounding it off to be a rather mediocre experience.
