Mary’s Southern Traditions - Marvell

Only their third day in operation. Dining room was very busy with locals. A mother and daughter (Allie). No printed menus (yet). Whiteboard mentioned chicken fried steak lunch plate it was good. I like my white gravy peppery, so I added pepper. Tea was large and sweet ish. Refill was free. Dunno how the $9.99 w/beverage price got to $11.04 given the Mississippi sales tax rate is 8%. Allie is young, knowledgeable, working solo and rushed many wasted trips/motions ... I suspect this will improve with experience. Meal was served without silverware. Asked both mom and Allie for silverware multiple times. Restroom is disgusting ... deplorable. Would I return? Yes, in about one month, to see if/how they have progressed.
