F.R.E.S.H Woodfired Pizza And Pasta

This place used to be good but after it changed hands 4 years ago it has gone downhill. Tasteless, pre-cooked toppings, pizza sauce is non-existent, supermarket bases. The worst pizzas I have ever tasted. Sadly they have an awesome oven but don't know how to cook pizzas.

Chips? well you won't get the ones in the images but you will get over cooked greasy and dry shoe-strings. They were so overcooked that it was like trying to bite into bamboo sticks. I mentioned that they were very hard and overdone, and the lady was quite defensive and angry with me and wanted to argue over money. Why? I don't know??? I didn't want a refund. I might have a pizza if travelling through again, but would need to ask for extra toppings to equal the right amount as shown in the menu pics. Quite disappointing. Of course you will pay extra to have it look like the image in the menu. Not my favourite place to stop at.

There is something special about wood-fired pizza that adds a unique flavor to the food. While the taste was not very prominent, the restaurant is conveniently located across from a skatepark and children's playground, and near a local golf course. The address is listed as Cheapside Street, but it is actually on Alice Street near Cheapside Street, next to a gas station. There is plenty of street parking and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Surprisingly, the owners are not Italian, but that doesn't necessarily hinder their ability to make a good pizza. We ordered the large supreme pizza and were a bit disappointed when we realized it looked more like a regular-sized pizza. The crust was okay but on the thin side, and the toppings seemed sparse. Despite this, the overall eating experience was decent. My son even mentioned that a Domino's New Yorker pizza might have been just as good. While I may not completely agree with him, I can see where he's coming from. It was a nice try, but if we were to return, we would probably opt to order a large pizza each.

I recently visited FRESH for the first time and am now questioning why it took me so long to go. After being let down by other nearby pizza restaurants, we decided to try something new. We ordered pizza and ribs, and were extremely impressed. The ribs were incredibly tender and the pizzas had just the right amount of toppings without being overly saucy. There was a bit of a wait, but next time we will make a reservation in advance. We will definitely be returning.
