Rocky's Jamaica Sunrise has been delighting diners with authentic Jamaican cuisine for over 14 years. I've been a loyal customer every time I visited friends in Walland since 2008, and I’ve never been disappointed by the 1/4 Chicken and 1/4 Rib combo. However, the standout dishes are definitely the specials like the Oxtail Stew and various pork or pulled pork offerings. There's ample parking, pickup is a breeze, and the service is consistently excellent. Now that I live in Maryville (I’m a retired Deputy Sheriff), I've had Jamaican food in places like Kingston, Ocho Rios, Port Antonio, Spanish Town, St. Ann's, Montego Bay, as well as in New York City and Los Angeles. Rocky’s is on par with the best of Jamaica and any top spot in the U.S. You can find Rocky's conveniently located across from the library and the Blount County Clerk’s drive-thru on Calderwood Avenue.
