Taliwang Khas Pak Udin - Mataram

Went there early as it opened. 4.30. Staff are very friendly. Menu is pretty straight forward. Talked to locals who were eating there and they told me this is definitely the best place to eat Taliwang chicken. I tried both fried and grilled both good. However if suggest you also try the grilled fish. Awesome. Crisp skin and moist flesh.

Brought them bk to Msia, kept over 3nights as we trvlled by air n car, then kept in fridge. Still good after a warm up over the stove. It's burung Puyuh for us; not the kampung chicken as we know it

Chicken was delish, cheap and unique. The fried fish was awesome! Great local experience.

I ordered ayam taliwang bakar, pelecing kangkung, beberuk terong, and terong bakar as my dinner menu. The taste of the food is so authentic, rich in spices and also the taste of spicy-fresh-savory so balanced in my mouth. This is the best Ayam Taliwang I've ever had so far.

It was nice place, and delicious cuisine, yet affordable. Easy access, the parking lot not so spacious.
