The main distinction from one francesinha to another is the sauce. Having done a vast tour of francesinha dishes in the Matosinhos area, this was probably the best, certainly the richest and most flavoursome sauce of all. Prices are more than reasonable, probably even low, considering the quality of food and ingredients. The presentation of the food was also impressive, given this is supposed to be a normal sandwich bar. Service was incredibly friendly and efficient. The location has parking immediately outside, with a couple of steps up to the entrance. Decor is clean, recently decorated with some interesting art features.

Best Sandwich Shop and Cafeteria in Leça da Palmeira! Offers a nice selection of sandwiches and snacks, if you 're around you must try their Francesinha , made with selected ingredients and with the original secret sauce recipe. A place where you can find full flavour for light price.

We found this fantastic place with the help of Google Maps and it was a very good decision to eat here : The cook was super nice and made you feel totally comfortable. The food was freshly cooked! A large portion for little money. Thank you and kind regards from Germany!
