Palm World - Mbarara

Excellent services with friendly waiters and waitresses.

Hard to give a full review as I attended a function (and didn’t stay overnight). Firstly Palm World was easy to find, on Google Maps plus using local signposts. Parking is decent size. I attended a wedding that was set in the hotel grounds. We also made use of an upstairs ‘dining room’ for close family. It worked very well (although extra toilets would be helpful). I needed to order a boda to Mbarara late at night and Gerard at reception was very helpful. He called a guy who was a good driver and not too expensive. Was catering for wedding provided by hotel or other caterers? I don’t know. Overall a good wedding venue based on my experience.

Well Organised, cool ambient environment, timely preparation of delicious meals. The rooms had old fashioned CRT TVs which display colours that cause eye strains...very unfriendly, I could not watch!

The place is fairly ok. The finishing in the bathrooms needs a retouch though.

The staff are welcoming, they are clean and it's a quiet place. The hotel shares its premises with an organisation called TPO. I will definitely visit them again.
