Poor service though the very few people that do work there try their best. One great thing was the breakfast Rooms: 4 Service: 1 Location: 3
Beautiful and quiet hotel. Away from the bustle of Megève. SPA staff extremely professional, competent and humane. Top notch car service, Julien was adorable. Very nice bartender. On the other hand, big downside on the reception, (with the exception of the charming person who welcomed us on Saturday evening for the tour of the hotel) The reception lacks discretion (making one customer pay while another is sitting right next to it 30cm away). And above all, we asked to keep the room for 15/20 minutes longer because we had a duo massage treatment in the hotel spa until 12 p.m. We had to negotiate hard to get it and at 12:14 p.m. we were called on our cell phone to tell us to leave the room. The treatment finished a little late at 12:04 p.m. No room service in the hallway so cleaning had not started. To end up waiting 25 minutes for our car in the reception hall. For me this is not worthy of a 5 star. Who I think must be used to managing requests that are much more extravagant than being able to keep a room for 20 minutes longer. Especially for a massage service within the establishment that we paid for. It's a shame
Very nice hotel in Megève with a view of Mont Blanc. Just 20 minutes walk from the center (and 5 minutes by car). Quality service, warm and elegant decoration. Rooms: 5 Service: 4 Location: 5
A disappointment despite very good assets. Non air conditioned rooms Bistro instead of table no outdoor pool View Comfortable rooms Breakfast Having booked half board to access the Michelin starred restaurant, we were totally surprised when we arrived to find that we would be entitled to the bistro! When booking, no mention was made of this weight distinction. the confirmation email clearly refers to “Access to the Restaurant”. Many customers found themselves faced with a fait accompli with no possibility of accessing the Table for an additional fee... Too bad. The Bistrot is very decent, the dessert (crème brûlée) is excellent. The rooms are really very good, be careful there is NO AIR CONDITIONING! In the event of a heatwave, which was our case, it is very difficult to sleep well. No outdoor swimming pool. Jacuzzi and Hammam not very practical. Access to the city center possible on foot (20 minutes) or by hotel shuttle. the staff is cordial but not up to 5* standards. The view from the hotel is really very pretty, that 's the big positive point with the buildings. To conclude: Hotel with poor value for money, prices must adapt to the summer period.
Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff is very caring even before you arrive at the hotel. Once there, the whole team works hard to make sure you have an extraordinary time. The establishment is tastefully decorated, the rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast is divine, the Nordic bath with a view of Mont Blanc is particularly pleasant. We dined at the Alpaga table (1 Michelin star), an incredible moment in the image of the establishment. The icing on the cake, we were able to participate in a picking with the pastry chef Tess Evans-Mialet followed by a tasting of her pastries, a fantastic moment!
