Hosteria Alpino - Mel

Wednesday 12 July dinner time. I am traveling by bicycle. I stop for a spritz and ask if it's dinner. The manager kindly replies that there are only toasts and that to have something else you have to book. We are in summer in one of the most beautiful villages in the Piave valley with a large number of tourists, and you tell me that there is only toast, no sandwiches, no bruschetta, no cicchetti, nothing at all, only toast... (also because there is only one other bar besides this one and the restaurant opens and evidently only when they feel like it, because there is no sign with the times on the door; the only healthy place is Ciocolat in the square, but it can't feed us only sweets!!!

We stopped for an aperitif before dinner...really good beer and canapés at a price that pleasantly surprised me...the place is a little dated, at least the tables but the courtesy of the bartenders will definitely make me come back if I pass by there.

A corner of mel that amazes great choice to swallow many types of gin. friendly and well prepared. Thank you.

Ate to the vegan evening 1 time a month: none of the ns conpagnia is vegan, but we were satisfied by the service, young, competent and friendly, stove top, matched wines, excellent atmosphere and good price. recommended recommended
