Gekkazan - Melbourne

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the surrounding shopping area. They serve delicious, authentic Japanese cuisine. I recently tried the Teriyaki Salmon Bento and it was just as amazing as it looked in the photo. I particularly enjoy coming here for their sushi rolls, as they separate the seaweed from the rice to keep it fresh and crispy until you're ready to enjoy it. I wish more Japanese sushi restaurants would follow suit.

This is the best sushi I have ever tasted. The fish is always fresh and I love how they let you wrap it yourself so that the nori sheet stays crunchy. They also have delicious ramen in large portions at a reasonable price.

A welcome change to have Japanese serving sushi in a Japanese restaurant : the sushi is fresh and delicious and a really nice setting to be out in the laneway. Select your favourite sushi and they will slice it up for you and serve with your favourite condiment : minimum eftpos of $20 is a bit of a letdown

Sushi rolls are all good. Udon is delicious. I visit here every week. I love it here!

Always lovely staff. The only Japanese good i trust for authenticity.
