The seafood on the pizza seemed to be from a frozen source and nothing tasted fresh. I couldn't even eat the mussels. The pastry tasted like stale bread from the day before. For a $24 pizza, I expected much better quality. It seems like this restaurant is catering to a market that hasn't experienced authentic pizza before. In the end, I had to throw most of the pizza in the trash.
This restaurant is a great throwback to old-school dining and definitely worth a visit. You have to try the massive jawbreaker-sized pizzas, they are worth the extra cost. The only downside was that our garlic bread never arrived, but when we brought it up while paying, they were understanding and removed it from the bill.
The restaurant was amazing with a great atmosphere. The food was fresh and tasty, and the service from the polite staff was incredible. The pizzas are delicious with fresh, juicy, and tasty ingredients. The pollo fettuccine was so good, with perfect flavors in the sauce and pasta. The portions were generous and I highly recommend it. The almond espresso dessert and volcano pizza were both a perfect 10/10.
Lured by the eatery's name thought could be in for a real treat, and whilst not disappointing it didn't live up to what I thought it would be. Certainly many patrons, and as had not made a booking had to settle for an outside table...where the friendly staff took our orders. There were some indoor booth seating which many patrons may find a comfortable way in which to enjoy a family dinner. Pizza was generously topped on a delicious thin nicely cooked base, parma's chicken could do with a little more kick in the sauce and lasagna served up lukewarm. The dessert menu or the stone grill, although not tried on this visit, could be enticing for some patrons. On street parking and tram line too make it relatively simple access.
Old school pizza in Coburg for pasta tonight, best to stick to their desserts though. Pasta was Spaghetti Pollo Fungi; the pasta was cut into pieces and not possible to twirl around my fork which made it awkward to eat, sauce was too runny and...not enough seasoning, mushrooms were barely cooked hence did not get the best flavor out of them, the chicken was dry and way to big and thick to eat with the pasta
