Snow Creek And Grill - Mellen

This restaurant is terrible! There have been too many changes in ownership. There are only 4 TVs and no cable. The atmosphere is awful.

After a disappointing first experience, we decided to give this restaurant another chance. However, our second visit was even worse. The fish on Fridays was inedible and the pizzas, which used to be a family favorite, were now of poor quality and overpriced. The pizzas had fewer toppings than a frozen pizza. We do not recommend this place. If you're looking for good pizza, try the gas station or Cayuga instead. As for the beer, it's okay at Snow Creek, but be prepared for slow service.

No CheeseWhat the heck....no cheese?From the exterior...looks like a nice place! Walked into the bar from the back entrance. Bartender informed us the bar was not open....as we looked around and saw two older dudes drinking beer at the bar and all the signs were on....not amused. Bartender asked us if we were looking for food because the restaurant was open. Sat down at our table...looked over the menu...not impressed....very few select items...couple sandwiches and pizza. Waitress wanted to take our drink order, but was not able to help with alcohol, assuming she was under age, but did not offer to check with anyone else to see if they were able to serve us. : Order taken...two cheeseburgers w fries (could not get lettuce, tomato, onion on the cheeseburger) and a 16 pizza fry. After 5 minutes or so waitress came back informing us they have no cheese....really?...this is Wisconsin! After no service at the bar, and crappy service in the restaurant...we decided to cancel our orders and go somewhere else. Funny thing is, Mellen is having their street party tonight...you'd think this place would be more stocked and willing to serve. Bust!...this place deserves a zero today on how were were treated!
