Bain Barbecue - Memphis

This is the best BBQ we have had so far in Memphis! We came during the Cooper-Young festival and the wait was pretty short! We got the Memphian and Sloppy Yunt sandwich and both were amazing. Also we got 1 Texas Twinkie which was pretty good too and the mango pina colada! The building itself was very nice and the bathroom was awesome!

Very nice restaurant in the Cooper Young area. The employees are very nice and professional and the food is always very good especially the BBQ Sandwich and the Rack of Ribs. This was my third time going so I tried the Double Patty Smash Burger and Fries this time just to do something different and both the burger and fries was very good too!

Best BBQ I’ve ever had! The brisket was incredible and the jalapeño Texas sausage was my fav thing on the menu. The staff was extremely friendly as well. I recommend getting there early…. We got there at 2pm and got last of the jalapeño sausages.

Really disappointed in the ribs. They were cooked well but the flavor came across as smoked grease....the beans also not good...taste like pinto beans from a can with smoke flavoring used.

This is real Texas style craft BBQ, low slow baby, which is the best style of BBQ in my opinion! Now craft BBQ is special and is not mass produced commercialized BBQ. So if you get there too late then you may not have a full menu to choose from. But!! If you do get there before they sell out get ready for some amazing BBQ!! This place style of BBQ will take over the Memphis BBQ scene and will put those other places that are just in it for a quick buck out of business. Just go try it, you won't be disappointed!! Also the Pit Master is a super great dude!!
