Ben Yay - Memphis

Came in yesterday for my birthday. Young server working entire shift by himself and was very inexperienced. He did not know how to use his own p.o.s. and when I asked what p.o.s. he used, he couldn't tell me. We ordered Crawfish Poboy (good), boudin Balls (came out still frozen in middle), pimento Grits (cold) , and seafood gumbo (ate 3 bites) . Tandem restaurants needs new management , customers, and probably new owners at this point.Star rating was very generous on my behalf, get it together.

My husband and I went for V Day and had an amazing experience!!! The food was delicious and the ambiance was romantic!! Gotta try the lump crab fried green tomatoes!!! Wow!!! Can’t wait to try more menu items!!!

Food was pretty good and their alcohol drinks were pretty strong.

Was walking by and noticed fried green tomatoes on the menu and had to stop in for a snack. I ended up ordering the fried green tomato appetizer with the lump crab on top... It was so delicious!! It came with a remoulade sauce that added that New Orleans flare... So good!! Rich had the crawfish Mac n cheese and order of the beignets. All this time I thought New Orleans had the best beignets but Ben Yay's are so amazingly delicious!! They're flaky and fluffy and just heaven in your mouth!! The atmosphere was great and the service was the best! Friendly people, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back.Parking: It is on Main St so during the busy times parking may be difficult to find. There are 2 lots within walking distance.
