This restaurant has been ranked first in the World by all the top International Chefs, so we expected to find something amazing, and this was really amazing. The setting of the restaurant is simple, but the view is fantastic. There is no menu, the waiters/Waitresses just bring dish after dish with a detailed explanation about each dish. Everything is bio and essentially grown in the restaurant gardens. The wine list is extensive and affordable. The service is outstanding. Perfect lunch. Of course it cost a lot of money, but if you cannot afford, do not try to get in.
My family and I had lunch at Mirazur in June. We had great expectations given its rating as a world’s best restaurant. The restaurant was very comfortable and inviting and the decor was aesthetically pleasing. The view was magnificent. The staff was attentive and accommodating. Great service. The food was all beautifully presented. But, in my humble opinion, most of the dishes lacked flavor. The ingredients of the dishes did not seem to work well together. It was so disappointing from a taste perspective. Unlike other Michelin-starred restaurants where the dishes exploded with flavor, I found that noticeably missing at Mirazur. I appreciate the restaurant’s commitment to aligning the menu with nature, but I wish they would have spent as much effort on making the food delicious. Whether eating at Mirazur is worth the price tag is a very personal decision. For me, it wasn’t and I regretted it.
We spend summers to nice and enjoyed many wonderful restaurants. mirazur is among the best. The kitchen is exquisite. lovingly prepared by the chef and his wonderful cooking staff. we arrived inevitably early and were warmly welcomed even if the restaurant was not yet really open. We felt like we were at home in this beautiful starred restaurant so famous. waiting for our table, our drinks were accompanied by really fabulous and very special accessories, prepared and presented with love. Although the atmosphere is formal, it is far from being stifling or affected as it may be with restaurants of this calibre. we were offered several different menus and we went with the recommendation of the chef's special menu master who had 12 dishes!!!! He promised that the portions would be dimensioned so that we would not be submerged. He was right. We have tasted magnificent breads, oysters, lobster, pigeon, red tuna, gaspacho and ice, beautiful cheeses, fig texture, naranjo and flor and small ovens. Our son and daughter-in-law took us to celebrate our birthday and they released a beautiful chocolate pie. the accord mets and wines made us discover wines that accompanied perfectly every dish. and they let us move forward at our own pace. patiently and so cordially by explaining each one of us. We felt very particularly well taken care of and our lunch lasted 4 hours that seemed to be an hour. I have only praises and a great thank you for this incredible culinary experience. and to add, the view on the coast from our magnificent glass table was incredible!!!!!! if you can possibly arrange a meal in this very special restaurant, don't miss the opportunity. We'll be back!
My wife and I had dinner for the first time in midrazur in April 2005, the week of her opening. as we spend our vacation in garavan chin every year, it is tempting to simply go down and enjoy each trip, but one thing that mirazur is not, it is that it is cheap. However, we have dined here several times in the years that followed and it is gratifying to say that it was our pleasure to experience it, as an early child, grow in the genius that it is. the current signature menu is perfect, inventive and satisfying. It would be an injustice to distinguish or sing praise from one course rather than another. However, I will comment on peripheral dishes, melt-wine chords and cheese tray. the choices of wines with glass selected in agreements for each dish of the menu were surprisingly well adapted to their accompaniment dishes, especially since all but one (a chablis 1ere cru) were marginal or secondary appellations. As such, the sommelier's choices were superb, though value-oriented. with respect to the course of cheese, while the selections of the board were exceptional, it was presented so fluid and simple that I was surprised to find it as a supplement and not cheap, imput to the total invoice. So, a small flat, that. Yet, we don't dine in the mirazur with disinvolture, or often, or with an eye on the wallet, with that I'll just say, until the next time:-)
The mirazur is what he is! One of the best restaurants I know. and I ate in many restaurants rewarded by michelin. It is the total concept of a warm welcome by staff, beautifully dressed wooden taboos and food. all, piece by piece, real works of art! and the uren stut and taste are bulls eye! My mother lives 500 m from the restaurant mirazur, and every year (sometimes twice a year) I take here with me in this restaurant. and again and again, I feel blessed and very fortunate. booking time is not too long (about 2-3 weeks) and it is also one of the things I love. a very large but comfortable and relaxed restaurant. service is more than excellent, and from the moment you enter, you are in the hands of one of the best crews in the world! I hope I'm back soon. Thank you mirazur!!!
