I was with a group of 12 friends and everyone liked their choices, which is an excellent endorsement. The moussaka and lentil soup got especially rave reviews, as did the pasta. Daily specials with lots of menu choices. No liquor served, but a refresco, main course, and soup or salad comes in under 100 pesos. No dinner needed after a lunch like this.
This is a fabulous little economic restaurant. Always tasty food options with a Greek/Italian/Yucatecan twist. Being vegetarian it is sometimes tough going out to small places, but not here. Fresh ingredients, well seasoned, daily specials, a really good casual dining experience.
I live in Fracc. Francisco de Montejo and went to this Italian -Greek restaurant with my gf for 1st time and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and inexpensive ,meals are about 60 pesos.I tried the lentil soup and spaghetti meatballs(albondigas),it was alot of food! The resaurant itself is pretty basic but clean and only opens 1pm to 5pm ,no alchol. The owner-chef Carlos is Italian and speaks english, and very friendly.
My second generation Italian blood heated up with culinary passion as I sampled the dishes of this bright, clean neighborhood restaurant. Carlo the owner/chef creates wonderful meals at a very reasonable price. Daily specials are available, try the babyback pork ribs! They melt in your mouth. A must stop for Italian/Mediterranean food in Merida.
