This is definitely a little whole in the wall! It's locally owned and you can tell they care about the quality of food and customer service. While we were there, the staff talked to people like they were regulars. The sandwich was so tasty and the coffee was just as good! Next time I'm in Denver, this will become a regular breakfast shop for me.
I go here at least twice a week it’s a lohi classic! Good breakfast sandwiches, good coffee, friendly staff/owner, and also really cool paintings on the wall. If there were Maci t shirts or hats I’d buy one in a heartbeat
Maci is such a pleasure with a great menu and simple outdoor seating area that is the closest thing to a vibe you can find in Denver. They refreshingly break the mold by offering a concept that isn’t trying to serve you the bare minimum at a premium price wrapped in a bougie facade. Lovely spot, relaxing and authentic—and really great staff. The type of place you want to be a regular.
The atmosphere was like any other small, dingy, family run cafe. Long wait time and unapologetic baristas/servers. We paid $20 total for two takeout sandwiches (picture attached). I cannot believe they have this price for both the amount of food you receive and the low quality of the sandwich. We will not be going back.
