Zac's Catfish And Chicken - Meridian

This was my first time to eat here and it was definitely a treat! The employees were very pleasant and helpful. The young lady behind the counter was very knowledgable when it came to the menu. She walked me right through the menu to find my perfectmeal. The atmosphere is amazing and the food literally melted in my mouth! They also serve hand dipped ice cream along with alarge selection of seafood platters. I had the jumbo shrimp platter, large, with greens, coleslaw, and French fries. It was allso fresh tasting. It was like they made it all for me right then. The sweet tea is very southern. Not too much sugar. Justthe right balance of sweet. Of course, I had to have three glasses. I will definitely return and I am sure that I will not bedisappointed then either. The hand dipped ice cream was very tasty and refreshing. They even serve my favorite flavor, mintchocolate chip. If you are looking for something new and tasty, try Zacs Seafood and Chicken. I am quite sure that you willenjoy it as well.

The catfish is fantastic. The breading is crumbly and well seasoned. Not the standard greasy flour at most places. If you get a platter everything is tasty! The coleslaw is sweet, the hush puppies are flavorful and the fries crispy. It's a large portiontoo... I could have shared it.

Great fried catfish, hush puppies and fries. Restaurant could use some cleaning and freshening.

Best seafood in town friendly staff! Fried green tomatoes were also very delicious as well.

Need to change cooking grease out, work on the gravy for the mash potatoes. Fries was ok but everything else was trash a waste of money
