Long John Silver's - Mesa

I love LJS and was so disappointed in my recent trip. Overcooked and hard fish and shrimp. Yuck! Since the dining room is closed and I wasn't going back through the drive thru, I sucked it up and ate it but it was not the way I remember it. And 15 bucks for fish and shrimp platter with a drink is pretty steep! I will stick with Pirates.

As far as fast food goes, there is no better fast seafood than Long John Silver 's. Now that I think about it, are there even ANY other dedicated seafood restaurants that have a drive-thru? Oh yeah, Pete 's Fish Chips.. They are bomb too, but for different reasons... LOL... Now if there is anybody else, L.J. Silvers would probably beat them out, too.

I love Long John Silvers! My complaint is that they only give you HALF a little condiment container of cocktail sauce for an 8 shrimp meal. That's good for about 2 pieces of shrimp. When I asked for more the lady kind of huffed at me like I was asking her to pull teeth! Ridiculous.

Husband went for supper and complete building dark. Didn't realize fast food recognized Columbus day as a holiday to close for business.
