Antica Badia Fuoriporta - MESSINA

This is one of the great places to eat in Sicily, seriously! Food was amazing and we were really lucky to eat here as a first meal. This is a family run restaurant and they are really friendly and passionate with what they do. You can say what you would like to eat and they will find you the best plate(s) for you. Decoration is also cozy and enjoyable. I hope to come back soon. Bravo

The food and service in this restaurant were the best we experience in Sicily. The waiter was very helpful and explained to us in English what every dish on the menu consisted of, he also recommended a lovely Sicilian wine to accompany our meal overall a gem of a restaurant.

We ate a late lunch and almost had the restaurant to ourselves. The service was outstanding, and the young chef came out to see how his meals were received. The pasta and appetizers were absolutely delicious. We wanted to take the chef home to cook for us all the time.

A lovely traditional Sicillian restaurant found by chance while meandering around Messina. Nice food and wine and made very welcome by attentive staff.

Stopped for lunch. The staff recommendations were excellent and the service was great. We will go again!
