Pasticceria Gelateria Ragusa - MESSINA

A tiny place, but the most delicious cannolis and gelato. The staff was friendly and efficient, and I felt the value was excellent. We paid €28 for 6 large cannolis, 5 small gelatos, and two small kiwi tarts. Everything in the case looked delicious and fresh. The location was very close to our cruise ship and couldn’t have been more convenient. We went based on a local’s recommendation, and since she is a chef herself, I knew we’d be in good hands. I highly recommend.

On a square near the cruise ship port we found this cafe/bakery offering gelatos, small pastries and cannolis. We wanted to try a cannoli and ordered two small pistachio ones and a larger one filled with chocolate. The young girl helping inside the bakery struggled understanding even when we pointed out what we wanted. There was another working the outside window and she seemed to understand and work better with English and other foreigners. Total for the three cannoli was about $5euros. We took our order and sat outside and enjoyed all three cannoli. We each had a pistachio white cream filling dipped in chocolate and rolled in pistachios and shared the chocolate cream with chocolate chips. Both were very good.

Stopped by this little gelateria and pasticceria for a delicious cannoli. Each one is made fresh to order.

Nice shop to buy and try some typical sweets from Sicily. The staff was nice and helpful to explain the ingredients. There is also a Caffè from the other side of the shop.

Wanted to try because of good reviews, however what was served was nothing special have had much better gelato in nicer places. The girl working was surprisingly rude and unwelcoming.
