New Orleans Food Spirits - Metairie

A must if you're in the Metairie area or if you're down for a little drive!

Other than the wait time everything was good. My food came out luke warm mostly but the waitress was on point. Very friendly and courteous staff. The alcohol drinks are ok not too bad. I was told the hurricane is a strong drink but I survived. The voodoo rolls were real good. My main entree was the chicken bon temp. It's a blacked chicken dish and they seasoned it to perfection. If you plan on eating here I would suggest a reservation and make sure the whole party if you have a big party is there before checking in. Parking: Parking is plentiful in the back of the restaurant.

Service was slow but there was a crowd and several large parties. Food was excellent! I always try to make it here whenever I visit Nola.

Excellent food. Huge salad plate. Too much for one person. Somewhat noisy for conversation. Great service.

I came down to New Orleans on a business trip from Shreveport, LA. I wanted to find a spot with some good New Orleans food. The food, atmosphere, and service were great. The gumbo is delicious, tastes just like my mom’s. The crawfish rolls is my top favorite, sooo good. The oysters were brought out hot and sizzling on the plate. The atmosphere and restaurant is too cute. I will be coming back here, the next time I’m in New Orleans!
